Mahjong, a game that originated in China many centuries ago, is a game of both skill and luck. When Mahjong came to the West in the 1920s, it took many communities by storm, and now Mahjong is played with four players seated around a table. Tiles are shuffled, dice are cast, and rituals involving the dealing and exchanging of tiles begins. The first person to match a hand of 14 tiles calls “Mahjong" to end the game.
