Note:

Registration for the Summer Recreation Basketball League will run July through August. The league includes practices, games, and a jersey. The program may run one extra week due to weather cancellations. All practices and games are held outdoors at the Manalapan Recreation Center. Practices and games are scheduled between Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings each week (please note that practices and games will not be held on the same day each week for the different divisions; each division will have two program dates per week, which will be determined once registration is closed). In case of cancellations due to weather/heat, coaches will be able to discuss with participants possible days for makeups, which can possibly include Thursday or Friday evenings.
Please send children with a basketball, sneakers and lots of water. Children will also need a mouthguard for game dates.
Please note the Summer League is run differently than the Winter League. It is less competitive and focuses on skills and having fun. In order to run the program, we need to secure a certain number of players and coaches. If minimums are not reached for either players or volunteer coaches, the league may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Parents will register with a $0 fee until minimums are reached, at which point parents will be invoiced $100 per player registered via RecDesk. Invoices are due upon receipt.
